Schools Financial Credit Union, a nonprofit headquartered in Sacramento, California, is a member-owned financial cooperative with more than $1.9 billion in assets and 147,000 members. Founded in 1933, Schools Financial ranks as one of the largest credit unions in California and the nation.
Originally formed to serve school employees, the Credit Union eventually opened its membership eligibility to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Sacramento, El Dorado, Placer, Sutter, Yuba, Butte, Nevada, San Joaquin, Solano, Yolo, Napa and Sonoma counties.
We exist to offer low-cost banking to the people who reside in the communities we serve.
