SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Inside Sales Representative for Dealer Sales provides customer order support and product/business information for all dealer sales customers. This position acts as a business representative for the window distribution channel. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide quality customer order support for Milgard customer base. Process and review dealer orders and requests and system generated acknowledgements and orders. Communicate professionally with Milgard customers and internal customers regarding product and business issues. Support the order fulfillment process by working extensively with Outside Sales Representatives, Production personnel, Customer Service, Credit and Delivery. LEVEL OF SUPERVISION: None EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years experience in customer service utilizing a customer relationship management (CRM) system, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Previous window sales and/or customer service preferred EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATION/FORMAL TRAINING: High School diploma required, some college preferred ESSENTIAL ABILITIES: Read, write and understand the English language Work independently, at times under pressure Sense of urgency; meeting of deadlines Excellent customer service skills Computer literacy and ability to learn new computer software programs Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong organizational skills and attention to detail PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Prolonged sitting and terminal use and minimal lifting of office equipment and supplies Overtime may be required. SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Expeditor checks windows to ensure customer requirements are met and preps window for warehouse and shipment delivery by performing the final steps of wrapping the window. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Match and marry frame and vent to form a finished window assembly Perform visual quality inspections to ensure proper functionality of the finished window assembly Apply appropriate company and regulatory labels to the frame Hand clean and prepare window for shipment Load finished window assembly to delivery cart using proper loading procedures and care handling to assure product is protected from damage Move empty cart into staging area Wrap rope around cart handle and set brake Pull window out of rack and place on expeditor rack Remove stickers and labels as needed Install screen and put labels and stickers on glass Install balances as needed Place cardboard on corners and wrap with plastic wrap, placing finished product on cart When cart is full, wrap rope around the windows and move to warehouse staging area Constantly monitors personal and surrounding work area to ensure that areas are clean and free of hazards. Maintains all equipment and tools in peak operating condition, calls for maintenance as needed, and constantly inspects machinery for damage Creates and executes MPS plans, meets MPS commitments and works within the guidelines of MPS; reflects Milgard’s business values and the Milgard philosophy in all business interactions Incorporates Milgard’s vision and values into day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others to remain committed to the Milgard philosophy. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: One or more years of work experience and demonstrated job stability EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATION/FORMAL TRAINING: High school diploma or GED ESSENTIAL ABILITIES: Ability to read, write, and apply basic math skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling Required to repetitively lift up to 75 lbs Hand dexterity and strength Overtime is required, including some weekends WORK ENVIRONMENT: Fast paced production environment in manufacturing facility Elevated noise levels requiring the use of safety protective devises Seasonable cold/hot depending on season Work surfaces are concrete. Personnel will stand while performing their respective job functions, for up to 12 hours a day. SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Delivery Driver is responsible for the delivery and unloading of finished product, parts and materials to customer locations. This may include dealers’ place of business, homeowners’ residence, service shed or a jobsite. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for the off-loading and delivery of Milgard products to dealers, contractors, Service Sheds and jobsites throughout the location’s geographic region. (Overnight stays minimal) • Must complete the corresponding paperwork of delivery and return to the Distribution Department. • Ensure truck is properly loaded and load secured; truck is in operational condition and product is delivered without any damage sustained • Responsible for handling any returns of products or supplies from delivery locations. • Proper usage of personal protective equipment. • Reflect Milgard business values and the Milgard Philosophy in all business interactions. • Adhere to safety policies and procedures related to all facets of job. EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATION/FORMAL TRAINING: • Valid Driver’s license for State of employment; Valid Class "A". • Clean Department of Motor Vehicle record • High school diploma or GED ESSENTIAL ABILITIES: • Read, write and understand the English language • Read and navigate by map • Able to maneuver a large Straight truck • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills • Excellent customer service skills PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to lift 50 pounds • Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling • Hand dexterity and strength • Overtime may be required, including some weekends WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Up to Sixty (60%) percent of all work activities are performed inside the cab of the delivery vehicle. The remainders of work activities are preformed outdoors. This changes based on route that is being performed.
