United States of America - Texas, Houston **Alternate Locations** US - Denver, CO - 7800 E Union Avenue, US - New Orleans, LA - 1555 Poydras St, US - New York, NY - 125 Broad Street, US - Orange, CA - 600 Main St, US - Sacramento, CA - 10235 Systems Parkway **Job Summary** AECOM is seeking candidates for future Project Controls Analyst roles to work in any one of the following locations: Denver, CO, Houston, TX, New Orleans, LA, New York City, NY or Orange or Sacramento, CA. The responsibilities of this role include, but may not be limited to, the following: + Able to use drawings and specifications in the establishment of project baseline data. + Assists in assessing the technical ability of Cost Analysts and/or Planning & Scheduling Analyst. + Assists in tracking action items. + Able to implement and maintain complex project schedules or cost control structures. + Assists in the preparation of control system specifications. + Able to participate in negotiations related to change management. + Able to review and enhance various control tool outputs including schedules, cost reports and estimate. + Prepares historical information for trend analysis. + Develops knowledge of accounting principles. + Assists in assembling data for trending and forecasting. + Prepares analysis of progress trends and cost impact. May participate in reviewing and approving contractor invoices. + Has knowledge of earned value methodology. + Collects and analyzes data on manpower, labor hour, and labor cost requirements versus budget limitations. + Collects and analyzes data for tracking actual cost to funding limitations. + Assists in tracking purchase orders and subcontract commitments and expenditures. + Possesses the knowledge of scope control and change management. + Supports the project reporting process as required. + Participates in project cost review meetings. **Minimum Requirements** + BA/BS degree and 4+ years of recent, relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + Experience must include cost analysis or scheduling for engineering, procurement and/or construction projects + Some outdoor field work required, sometimes in inclement weather + Sponsorship is not available for this position **Preferred Qualifications** + 6+ years of experience with engineering, construction or procurement projects is dsired + Some previous field experience is preferred + Intermediate PRISM G2 knowledge and experience preferred + Intermediate to expert level in P6 and MS project desired + Willingness to learn AECOM internal cost software **What We Offer** When you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future.
