United States of America - California, Sacramento **Job Summary** **AECOM** is actively seeking a highly motivated Environmental Planning Intern for employment in the Oakland, CA office to support environmental review and regulatory compliance for a wide variety of projects, including water, energy, transportation, infrastructure, and natural resources, as well as urban, infill, and mixed-use development projects in northern California. The position may also be located in Sacramento, San Francisco or San Jose. We work together across our global network to bring the best resources, skills and efficiencies to our projects. **The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:** + Interpret and record data, conduct research and analyses. + Contribute to environmental documents and compliance processes. + Provide appropriate support to AECOM multidisciplinary teams. **Minimum Requirements** + BA/BS in Environmental Sciences or related field or currently in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences or related field + Valid Driver's License **Preferred Qualifications** + Knowledge of the CEQA/NEPA processes and regulatory requirements (e.g. federal and state Endangered Species Acts, Clean Water Act) + Highly motivated and accountable + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) **What We Offer** When you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future.
