**AECOM** is actively seeking a highly motivated Environmental Planning Intern for employment in the Oakland, CA office to support environmental review and regulatory compliance for a wide variety of projects, including water, energy, transportation, infrastructure, and natural resources, as well as urban, infill, and mixed-use development projects in northern California. The position may also be located in Sacramento, San Francisco or San Jose.
This position is expected to begin in May/June 2021.

**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:**
+ Interpret and record data, conduct research and analyses.
+ Contribute to environmental documents and compliance processes.
+ Provide appropriate support to AECOM multidisciplinary teams.
+ BA/BS in Environmental Sciences or related field or currently in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences or related field
+ Valid Driver's License
+ Knowledge of the CEQA/NEPA processes and regulatory requirements (e.g. federal and state Endangered Species Acts, Clean Water Act)
+ Highly motivated and accountable
+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
