United States of America - New York, New York **Job Summary** AECOM is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to support the development and achievement of the organization's goals and objectives by providing accurate, insightful and timely finance support and analysis. This individual will be responsible for analyzing and presenting financial performance metrics, supporting the delivery of key departmental initiatives and communicating monthly business results against agreed performance targets to the Finance Leadership team. The individual will also play a key role in the annual operating planning process. S/he will provide financial consulting and strategic support to corporate Leadership, including identifying, researching, analyzing and presenting critical business drivers, trends and project-level analysis. Responsibilities: + Duties may include, but are not limited to: + Prepare and maintain complex financial models + Research and analyze financial statement data + Perform forecasting and analysis + Market research + Develop reports for key strategic initiatives + Perform ad-hoc strategic and financial analyses and research assignments + Present key insights and recommendations + Perform other duties as assigned + Drive monthly analyses and reporting on BD financial performance, bookings, backlog, return on investment, and other key performance indicators + Support of critical, time-sensitive ad-hoc analyses and presentations to sr. level management + Proactively identify and drive process improvements and standardization + Manage and mentor team of direct reports **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field. + 8 years of relevant experience in finance, consulting or strategic planning within a public company **Preferred Qualifications** + MBA Degree preferred + Licensed CPA preferred + Big Four experience preferred + Experience leading a finance team + Analytical skills are key to success in this role + Strong excel skills required (pivot tables, V look ups etc.) + Very strong quantitative skills, ability to interpret financial data including financial statements, key financial ratios, ROI models and techniques + Attention to detail with strategic and tactical insight + Strong written and oral communications skills, and excellent computing skills + Individual needs to be highly motivated, able to drive projects and change management + Action and Outcome Orientated: Approaches the role with drive and energy with an eye on the bottom line; not afraid to initiate action before all the facts are known; drives to finish everything he/she starts + Highly Organized: Is well organized, resourceful, and persistent; effective and efficient at coordinating multiple resources to get things done; can work on multiple tasks at once without losing track; foresees and plans around obstacles + Intellectually curious figuring out the real story behind the data to enable Leadership to make informed decisions + Adaptive and open to changing priorities and processes + Creates vision and holds people accountable + Strong Interpersonal Skills: Easy to approach and talk to; relates well to all kinds of people and builds solid professional relationships.
