The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: + Performing geotechnical tasks and working closely with other disciplines to meet the project needs + Oversight and management of a variety of subsurface investigation programs. + Adhere to AECOM safety culture and maintain a safe work environment + Assigning geotechnical laboratory testing + Performing design calculations for pavements, shallow and deep foundation, tunnel components, and retaining walls, temporary and permanent support of excavation + Perform settlement analysis, ground improvement analyses , slope stability analyses, seepage analyses, + Prepare of engineering reports and memoranda + Performing construction oversight + Potential for international travel + Ability to work in inclement weather + Ability to lift 50 lbs **Minimum Requirements** + Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Geotechnical/Civil Engineering, or related field with the intent to continue enrollment after an internship + Must have completed 2 years of study in the applicable program + Valid Driver's License **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience/knowledge in one or more of the following: soil mechanics, geology, CAD, stability analysis, Civil Engineering + Functional knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and standard office software **Additional Information:** + Relocation is not available for this position. **What We Offer** We will give you the flexibility you need to do your best work with hybrid work options.
