**AECOM** is seeking a Senior Project Manager to be based in Oakland, California and Sacramento, California. This is a senior leadership position for a highly talented water/wastewater professional in our West Region.

**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Market segment leader for wastewater.
+ Experience serving municipal water/wastewater agencies.
+ Experience with industry associations WEF, CWEA.
+ Duties include: Marketing and technical support for existing offices.
+ Marketing - Prepare business plans, identify opportunities, assist with preparation of proposals, and attend interviews.
+ Technical - Excellent knowledge of application of traditional water/wastewater treatment technology. Additional experience with an advanced knowledge of water/wastewater/reuse treatment technology, pilot projects and research projects.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ BA/BS + 10 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ P.E. license
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ MS engineering – Civil/Mechanical/Chemical. Advanced degree preferred.
+ ME license.
+ Industry leadership – AWWA, WEF, hydraulics institute, etc.
+ Exceptional technical skills in science and engineering, excellent communications skills, outstanding client service and project management capabilities.
+ MS office suite, cad, hydraulic and hydrodynamic modeling, Biowin, etc.
+ This candidate should be self-sufficient throughout the industry, have existing contacts for technical assistance and be able to develop new contacts as needed on projects.
+ The candidate should stay abreast of technical advancements and how we can become industry leaders, then determine how this may benefit clients. The engineering field changes constantly. Stay informed. Stay involved. Assignments are located mainly in pacific region North America, but worldwide opportunities are available.
