**Job Summary** **AECOM** is seeking an Environmental Project Manager for the Southern California area to lead a team to help manage a variety of oil and gas investigation/remediation projects. This role will involve overseeing high-profile and complex projects throughout Southern California. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate investigation/remediation project experience and require a strong focus on health and safety, be detailed orientated, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and will be capable of working collaboratively in a high-performance team. **At AECOM, we’re delivering a better world.** We believe infrastructure creates opportunity for everyone. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: + Health and safety stewardship, including local field visits + Managing scope, schedule, and budget for large-sized investigation/remediation projects + Building strong client relationships + Client and regulatory correspondence + Technical report writing and review + Working effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholders + Coordinating work schedules with AECOM staff and subcontractors + Responsible for quality control of tasks + Mentor project Jr. staff + Will require some regional travel for field visits + Supervise up to 10 staff This position requires both office and field work; the successful candidate should expect to be out in the field up to 20% of the time mentoring junior staff. Remote work is an option if applicable to project responsibilities. Field work may be performed at project sites with environmental media (e.g., soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, etc.) that has been impacted with hazardous substances and/or hazardous wastes.
