JOB SUMMARY

The Clinical Program Manager (CPM) manages all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the program to ensure regulatory compliance at all levels. The Clinical Program Manager provides consultation and support to the program staff.  The professional development of staff is a key component of the Clinical Program Manager position. The Clinical Program Manager interacts with other program and department managers to foster agency integration, contributes to the development and implementation of program outcomes, policies, and procedures, and trains employees to ensure agency and program compliance. Supports the Mission, Vision, and Values of the agency.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

·Master’s Degree in a related field 

·LCSW, LMFT or LPCC and current registration with California Board of Behavioral Sciences required

·Experience providing community based individualized support and services to families

·Must provide and operate a registered, properly insured automobile, if applicable to position

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Position Specific

·Manages the day-to-day operations of the program through effective leadership, providing an ongoing assessment of program, reporting to the Director any deficiencies and plans of correction

·Assists the Program Director in maximizing the effectiveness of services provided to youth and their families

·Takes active role in recruitment, hiring, development, evaluation, and termination of staff

·In coordination with Human Resources, develops a plan for the orientation, development, and ongoing training of staff

·Reviews and approves all documentation prepared by the program staff

·Provides leadership, direct supervision, training, and support to team members including: regular one-to-one consultation meetings, regular assessment of performance, and routine provision of feedback as it pertains to job performance, professional development, and program and agency job specific expectations

·Ensures the provision of a wide array of family centered services to consumers with appropriate regard to their physical and mental well-being

·Collaborates with the program management team daily to review new referral packets and complete case assignments

·Takes a lead role in the implementation of Evidence Based Practice (EBP) models and therapeutic groups for youth and families in the program

·Reviews complaints generated by clients, their representatives, and/or other agents and develop plans to address each complaint satisfactorily

·Documents all services provided to youth or on behalf of youth  

·Reviews critical incident reports and ensures follow-up plans are in place to address safety and minimize risk

·Ensures documentation is compliant with regulatory and contractual requirements

·Participates in on-call rotation

·Participates in Utilization Review, Accreditation, County and State Audits as requested.

·Responsible for meeting all outcomes as documented in their Employee Development Plan
