**Job Summary** This is Environmental Engineer a Project Manager or Technical Lead track position in our Sacramento CA office, therefore, the ideal candidate must be able to work independently and productively in a collaborative team-environment, foster team building through inclusion and mentorship, display a high level of organization and communication, and demonstrate a strong desire to learn from Project Managers. Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following: + Field-based task oversight of environmental investigation and remediation programs. + Project Management tasks including budgeting, schedule and scope development and tracking + Data evaluation and report writing with experience drafting environmental investigation reports. + Qualified candidates must be comfortable with periodic travel throughout the Northern California area. + Able to communicate (verbal and written) effectively with PMs and peers + Flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects, a positive attitude, willingness to mentor junior staff, and commitment to workplace health and safety are imperative + Complete work within budgetary requirements Join AECOM to be part of an expert global team who is connected through a well-developed, worldwide, internal technical practice network through which you can learn from and brainstorm with the best in the world. We help clients reduce their impact on the environment, achieve compliance and reduce risks. **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor’s in a relevant engineering discipline (civil, chemical, environmental, etc.) or related field plus 4+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. + Self-starter, team oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills + Valid driver's license **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in environmental consulting, specifically with remediation projects * PE certification * CERCLA experience * Task or Project Management experience * 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training * MS in Engineering **Additional Information** * Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship required. * Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. **What We Offer** We will give you the flexibility you need to do your best work with hybrid work options.
