The Home Building Group is actively searching for a Human Resources and Operations Admin to join the Clayton Sacramento team.

 

This full-time position reports to the TMX/HR Manager.

 

The HR/Operations Admin will provide administrative support for TMX (Team Member Experience) Initiatives and advance special TMX projects as assigned using skills, knowledge, and abilities gained through experience and education. The Admin will also be responsible for the Energy Star program.

 

Some responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

Responsibility for the Energy Star program

Participate in the COVID-19 management program which includes testing of team members as needed

Assist with annual open enrollment

Various Admin projects to support the TMX/HR team

Coordinate Wellness programs in conjunction with the TMX Manager

Help convey any changes in company policy to all Team Members

Assist the TMX Manager with Employee Assistance Program initiatives

Assist with the creation of company policies, procedures, job descriptions, and other documentation relating to the TMX program

Screen policies and practices to ensure compliance with federal and CA state laws

Serve as a key participant in the advancement of special TMX projects

Assist with coordination of Team Member events

Ability to lead by example, possess key traits of an IDEAL TEAM PLAYER; Hungry, Humble, Smart

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:

 

2+ years previous Experience in Human Resources is preferred

Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese required

Proficient Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel experience required

Trustworthy - capable of handling and maintaining highly confidential information

Must be detail-oriented and organized

Able to adhere to tight deadlines

Must be able to communicate effectively and constructively with all levels of the organization

Comfortable with leading and presenting at meetings

Knowledge of all HR "acronym" components related to employment law and regulations

Must be vaccinated or willing to become vaccinated while working for Clayton Sacramento.

Education and Qualifications:

 

High school diploma

College classes or certifications in HR a plus

PHR or SPHR certification a plus

2+ years’ experience in a training, recruitment or human resources role preferred

Employment experience in manufactured environment preferred

Starting hourly pay range is $21-23 DOE. Candidates fluent in Spanish or Vietnamese preferred; read/write/speak. Chosen final candidate must submit to pre-employment, post-offer drug and COVID-19 test and background check.
