We’re one global team – 47,000 strong – driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world. **Job Summary:** The Sr. HR Compensation Specialist will support the HR community, stakeholders and employees in the Americas region. Individual assuming this role will help direct the design and administration of various employee compensation programs that may include salary administration, job evaluation, performance appraisal, merit and other salary increases, variable compensation and incentive plans, compensation communication, compensation policy development and administration. This position will report to Sr. Director, Rewards – Americas and will be a key member of the AMER Rewards Team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Plans and develops multiple HR projects with unique or controversial problems that have important effects on the organization. May lead complex HR projects domestically or globally. + Advises managers on compliant, fair and competitive pay levels in line with company policy and budget, maintaining liaison with specialists to ensure compliance with regulations and laws. + Makes recommendations regarding salary grades or market rates for specific jobs and assists in the development of incentive programs and the administration of performance review or merit-rating programs. + Is consulted extensively by associates and others with a high degree of reliance placed on individual's HR interpretations and advice, providing work leadership and training for HR and project teams. + Receives essentially administrative supervision, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits. + Performs most assignments independently with instruction on the general expected results. + Conceives, plans, and conducts consultation in areas of considerable scope and complexity. + Involves creative, independent solutions that will be adopted by HR corporate-wide. + Serves as a technical specialist for the function. **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or related degree plus six (6) years or more of compensation experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. + Due to the nature of the role, US citizenship is required. **Preferred Qualifications** + Eight (8) years or more of extensive compensation experience with a focus on base pay, incentive plans, working with market/survey data, compliance and core compensation processes + Highly proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word + Experience with MS Access, VBA, SQL, Power Pivots, and advanced Excel formulas and functions preferred + Experience using Marketpay and Workday preferred + Experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) industry preferred + CCP and/or GRP desired + Strong presentation skills, with the ability to deliver information in a clear and concise manner + Ability to build and manage relationships and set clear expectations with business partners + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines **Additional Information:** + Relocation is not available for this position + U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position + Offered rate of compensation (Colorado locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
