**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking a skilled **Air Quality and Greenhouse Gas Emissions Analyst** to join our growing California community and environmental planning practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate experienced in air quality and GHG analysis, particularly under the California Environmental Quality Act, looking to grow their career with more complex assignments, projects throughout California, or broader work in sustainability planning. With our multi-disciplinary firm, depending on interest and skills, in addition to air quality tasks, the candidate could have opportunities for other types of environmental analysis, contributing to long-range policy documents, assisting with climate action planning, and developing strategies related to sustainability and environmental justice. While the position will be mapped to our Sacramento office, we are flexible with respect to the typical place of work.
This individual would be a key team member within our Environmental Planning and Permitting Group, working alongside environmental scientists and planners of various disciplines to provide planning and environmental review services to private and public sector clients across a range of industries.
**The roles and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:**
+ Estimating air pollutant emissions using both industry standard models and applying industry standard methodology to off-model calculations
+ Conducting air quality and greenhouse gas analyses and reporting under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)
+ Collect and analyze data to inform dispersion modeling and analysis.
+ Successfully leading tasks and executing assignments on time, on budget, and meeting our quality objectives.
+ Collaborating with other air quality specialists, other project team members, and project managers
+ Applying a technically sound and often creative approach to analyses and mitigation design that meets statutory, regulatory, and case law guidance.
+ Develop technical presentations.
+ Evaluate the effectiveness of design features and strategies in achieving emission reductions.
+ Contribute to marketing efforts and proposals in collaboration with senior staff.
+ Provide technical peer review of deliverables.
+ Continually develop technical knowledge and build capabilities in air pollutant emissions assessment.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
+ Valid U.S. Driver's license is required for this role.
**Preferred Qualifications** :
+ 5+ years of relevant experience.
+ Prior CEQA experience
+ Strong computing skills including high level use of spreadsheets and word processing.
+ Strong communication skills, including verbal and written, to impart technical information and interact with clients and regulatory personnel.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of, and capabilities in understanding and applying the state statutory and regulatory framework to real world projects.
**Additional Information**
+ Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.
+ Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $65,000 - 85,000.00.
