Eskaton Home Healthcare is a Medicare-certified agency with a team of nurses, physical and occupational therapists, and home health aides to help individuals with an illness or injury remain at home or return there from a stay in the hospital or skilled nursing community. We are looking for an experienced Executive Director to lead our Home Healthcare team and help grow and expand services in our home healthcare division.

Maintains agency compliance with California licensing regulations Medicare Certification regulations.. • Responsible for recruiting, training, and retention of a highly qualified staff to ensure effective operations. • Responsible for implementation of all contracts and agreements in accordance with corporate policy. Participates in pricing strategies for service contracts; oversees the application of all discounted prices and HMO contract negotiation. • Remains knowledgeable in all payor reimbursement guidelines; actively participates in Medicare Cost Report decisions. • Maintains and insures employee motivation and desire to achieve both divisional and overall Eskaton goals and objectives. • Has a good grasp of the state of operations at any point in time; conducts effective operations review meetings to evaluate overall performance of the corporation. • Has required knowledge of industry, including all significant regulations (federal, state, local) which affect the business. • Manages area of responsibility in a way to achieve its goals and objectives including operational targets. • Ensures that the corporation has appropriate policies and guidelines for the effective operation of the organization and complies with those policies.Education RequirementsA registered nurse with a baccalaureate or higher degree in nursing or other health related field with a minimum three years of experience within the last five years in a home health agency primary care clinic or health community, at least one year of which was in a supervisory or administrative capacity. A Masters Degree is desirable. Also acceptable is a registered nurse with four years experience within the last five years in a home health agency, primary care clinic, or health community, at least one year of which was in a supervisory or administrative capacity. This position requires a minimum of five years of experience in the management of health care related operations; knowledge of governmental regulations for nursing care; California Regulations, Title 22, Division 5, Chapter 6; Medicare Conditions of Participation, and knowledge of current insurance pay practices; knowledge of marketing and contracting and an understanding of the managed care industry.
