Provides support to the facility by performing specific or various business office functions as assigned including (but not limited to) front desk, admissions/intake, medical records, credentialing, clinical logs and other duties as assigned. Ensures all customers are greeted in a timely and friendly fashion. Maintains front visitor/patient area professional and presentable. Performs or assists with other clerical functions within the office and facility.
High School Diploma or equivalent
BLS/CPR Certification Required
• Experience in a clerical role as would typically be obtained on one year.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent professional, organizational, and communication skills.
• General office and secretarial skills preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use personal computer and word processing software (Word/Excel, WordPerfect/Lotus 123, etc.).
• Knowledge of office machines.
• Ability to treat all patient and employee information as confidential.
