IQS Outreach Specialist - Integrated Quality (Full Time, Limited Term - Days)
The Integrated Quality Services (IQS) Outreach Specialist provides support services to the IQS department and Sutter Medical Foundation (SMF). The IQS Outreach Specialist follows established protocols/guidelines to support the department, and SMF quality program initiatives with particular focus on improving quality metrics. The IQS Outreach Specialist will perform review of electronic health records for compliant activities and enter this information in a supplemental database. The IQS Outreach Specialist will contact Sutter Medical Foundation patients provided to them who are identified as being non- compliant for satisfying the quality initiative metrics (via MHO, telephone, and letters). The IQS Outreach Specialist will occasionally conduct on-site chart reviews looking for compliant records. Moreover, the IQS Outreach Specialist may contact provider offices, health plans, pharmacies or other entities both within and outside SMF to obtain related data. Special projects may also be assigned.
+ High school diploma or GED required with an Associates degree preferred.
+ This position requires 4 years of experience in a healthcare setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ The IQS Outreach Associate should be proficient with Microsoft Offices products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) with particular focus on Excel. Epic experience is also strongly preferred. Additionally this position requires organization skills, attention to detail, accuracy, multi-tasking, decisive judgment and the ability to work with frequent interruptions and minimal supervision. Must possess excellent verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication. Ability to establish and maintain a professional cooperative working relationship with physicians, executives and all others whom work must be coordinated. Must be able to work well with others in a team environment.
