Utility Billing Services Representatives perform specialized and complex customer service work in a centralized utilities customer services office dealing with consolidated billing for water, wastewater, refuse and other fee service billings, many of which are mandatory; processes requests for residential and commercial utility services; maintains and researches fiscal, service, and related records unique to utility services and billing; responds to and reconciles customer service complaints and billing problems; explains utility service, billing and collection policies to customers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(Level II)
One year of full-time, paid experience comparable to a Utility Billing Services Representative (Level I) with Sacramento County.
(Level I)
One year of experience performing financial recordkeeping and customer relations activities, including giving and receiving information on a daily basis.
