Under limited supervision, the Assessment Technician performs a variety of para-professional and specialized technical duties related to property tax assessment including assisting Assessor's staff with routine and standardized field and office functions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Either: Two years of full-time experience within Sacramento County service performing a wide range of technical, specialized and clerical duties associated with property transfer, appraisal title work, property tax assessment or property tax collection.
Or: Two years of full-time appraisal support and technical experience related to property tax assessment, property tax collection, or title work in California.
Or: Completion of 60 semester (90 quarter) units from an accredited college or university of which 18 semester (27 quarter) units must be in accounting, business, economics, marketing, real estate, or other fields directly related to the intent of this class.
