Responsible for providing coordination and oversight of patient care in collaboration with the neurology, neurointensivist and/or neurosurgery physician partner(s). Facilitates and monitors all aspects of patient care throughout the acute care episode, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical staff in some affiliates to ensure best process/outcomes per core measures, Get With The Guidelines (GWTG) stroke and CMS requirements. Provides consultation to staff, participates in patient rounds and case conferences, and provides education to clinical team members as indicated.
+ Master's Degree.
+ Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Licsense - NPF.
+ DEA Number.
+ Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner - ACNP or Family Nurse Practitioner - FNP upon hire.
+ Emergency Neurological Life Support certification (ENLS) within 90 days of employment.
+ CITI Training must be completed within 90 days of employment.
**Other license desired:**
+ General Nursing Practice - CN-RN is preferred.
+ 3 years advanced nursing experience.
+ 2 years critical care nursing experience.

+ Evidence-based practice, research and professional practice standards.
+ Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills required.
+ Ability to create positive team and professional alliances with individuals and groups.
