**Description** The **Invasive Cardiovascular RN** has primary accountability for patient outcomes. The incumbent leads the patient care team, delegates, supervises, and participates in providing direct patient care to neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients undergoing invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath/EP Lab. **Qualifications** **MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS** : **Education** : Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program. Current California RN license or interim permit **Experience:** Acute care experience preferred. Experience in area of clinical specialty preferred. **Knowledge:** Knowledge of nursing process in the assessment of physical and psychological needs of patients and their significant others. Demonstrate basic nursing skills. Aware of adult learning principles in providing teaching of patients and their significant others. Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS-HCP), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred in specialty areas. **Cardiac Cath Lab (Invasive) Requirements:** ACLS and PALS within 3 months of hire and must maintain recognition.
