The Senior Strategic Intelligence Analyst reports directly to the Director, Valley Strategy and Strategic Business Intelligence and has responsibility for developing and analyzing internal, industry and competitive information and producing actionable insights around business questions and decisions facing Sutter Health. This position serves as a liaison for internally and externally sourced strategic databases and tools. Applies these strategy tools to provide forecasting, simulation, feasibility study, modeling, resource planning, valuation and other financial and statistical analysis to evaluate strategic opportunities and scenarios.
Serves as a liaison for identified Area and System functional counterparts to maintain an intelligence network and obtain / deliver relevant intelligence and resources within the network. Particular focus on ambulatory and foundation based business intelligence.
Bachelors Degree program emphasis in accounting or finance, and / or quantitative analysis required Or equivalent education/experience is required
Master's Degree in Business Administration Preferred Or equivalent education/experience is preferred.
Driver License, Valid and in State - DL NUMBER required.
Extensive proven results in application of strategic and financial analysis required.
• Five or more years of healthcare industry experience required, with a proven background in service line strategic analysis required.
Strong experience in project management; synthesizing diverse and complex information into usable intelligence and proven ability in communication, influencing, and mentoring skills required.
• Must have demonstrated ability to collaborate and work in a matrix management environment required.
**Skills and Knowledge**
Strong understanding of evaluative frameworks and the ability to build and use advanced tools to solve problems.
Strong understanding of statistical principles and analysis.
Knowledge of LEAN principles and process
Excellent analytical orientation and thought processes; effective oral and written communication and presentation skills; strong interpersonal, negotiation and persuasion skills required
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of clients.
