Oversees and supports the preparation of financial statements. Manages Accounting staff to support day to day functions.
HS Diploma required
Bachelor's In Accounting, Finance or Business administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Master's MBA preferred
Certified Public Accountant - CPA Preferred
Must have sufficient experience to participate in process improvements and identify areas to make more efficient. A minimum of 3 years of general accounting experience, preferably in the healthcare industry is preferred.
**Skills and Knowledge**
Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Must be proficient in designing and utilizing Excel spreadsheets and graphs.
Must have strong analytical, organization and problem solving skills in addition to excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prepare materials for non-financial audience and to clearly and effectively communicate information at all levels, from staff to senior leadership.
Must deal appropriately with confidential information and have a high-level of attention to accuracy and details.
Ability to handle shifting priorities and multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
Personal initiative is important, as is the ability to work as part of a team.
Demonstrates a clear understanding of and consistently adheres to company policies and procedures.
Knowledge of Lawson software desirable.
