The Consultant, Continuing Professional Development, works under the direction of the Program Manager, Continuing Professional Development, to provide consultation, education and guidance to the Inter-professional continuing education planning team(s) throughout the system who wish to conduct certified continuing education. The position will also be responsible for the maintenance of the necessary processes and documentation required to meet the standards outlined by the accrediting bodies and Sutter Health. This position provides effective technical, analytical, administrative and operational guidance required to coordinate designated (system-wide, Operating Unit and affiliate specific) Continuing Education (CE) programs through the process of certification in accordance with Sutter Health's IPCE mission and the regulations of our external accrediting bodies.
Bachelor's Degree in training in healthcare administration, nursing, or business required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
3 years experience in continuing education is preferred.
1 year experience in quality is preferred.
