Analyze labor for the property by ensuring labor cost is controlled and productivity measurements are adequate. Assist with other analytical projects as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Design and produce daily, weekly and monthly labor reports, as assigned.
Analyze and forecast resource requirements against operational plans, available budget, labor standards and past information to optimize compendium while meeting operational requirements.
Report on union and non-union labor utilization.
Assist in preparation of explanations for monthly & quarterly & annual labor reports, including comparison of actual versus budget and prior year amounts.
Work with Human Resources on staffing levels by department and position.
Work with Information Technology to gather necessary data from Kronos Workforce Management system.
Work with VPs, directors and managers in designing and reporting labor templates for each department
Build ad-hoc labor reports, as assigned
Assist other department personnel with questions and concerns.
Cross-train with other financial analyst staff to learn other duties.

Experience and/or Education
Three years related experience and/or training; Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills both oral and written. Ability to interpret financial and marketing documents.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the ability to learn new systems quickly. Ability to utilize the following software is essential: Word, Excel, and Outlook. Working knowledge of SQL and Kronos Workforce Management preferred.
