Job Description

**Position Overview:** Provides complex and broad ranging administrative support to executives; including scheduling, communication, and projects, using independent judgment. **Principal Accountabilities:** + Assists senior executive with daily communication. + Screens calls, takes messages as appropriate, distributes and/or handles mail/email. Is resource for staff, visitors, and other dept. + May independently resolve patient complaints; refers inquiries as appropriate. + Coordinates meetings, including board meetings, providing support by preparing notices, and minutes. + Develops meeting agenda and supporting documentation for executive approval. + Compiles and distributes full packets as needed. + Interacts with contacts across region and system to support the executive in his/her multi-entity responsibilities. + May maintain timekeeping records and function as Kronos Timekeeper. + May maintain or prepare budget records and documentation. + Prioritizes appointments for executives based on knowledge of business demands. + Manages calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating activities, and preparing for meetings and events. + Arranges for complex logistical needs. + Processes administrative functions for executives. + Coordinates travel and lodging and off-site event arrangements. + Makes necessary reservations. + Coordinates equipment, invites appropriate personnel. + Provides administrative support by maintaining documents, files, and policies or procedures. Prepares complex reports or presentations with little or no direction. + Composes and/or transcribes letters and other documents as needed. + Responsible for a variety of projects as assigned, working independently on creation of documents and prioritizing needs. + May provide functional supervision to other staff. **Qualifications:** **MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS** **Education, including Licensure/ Certification/ Registration:** + High school degree or equivalent required. + A.A. or equivalent experience preferred. **Experience:** + Prior experience in administrative support required. + Executive support experience is preferred. + Prior experience in healthcare setting is preferred. **Skills / Knowledge:** + Demonstrated proficiency in advanced administrative skills required. + Demonstrated proficiency in office equipment (e.g. LCD projectors). + Ability to type a minimum of 50 wpm. + Proficiency in administrative office procedures and protocol; meeting planning and preparation of minutes, scheduling, design and maintenance of filing and office systems. + Excellent knowledge of the English language and grammar is required. + Complex and multiple projects in fast paced environment; required to make decisions based on incomplete data. + Must be professional in appearance. **Organization:** Sutter Valley Hospital **Employee Status:** Regular **Employee Referral Bonus:** No **Benefits:** Yes **Position Status:** Non-Exempt **Union:** No **Job Shift:** Day **Shift Hours:** 8 Hour Shift **Days of the Week Scheduled:** Monday-Friday **Weekend Requirements:** None **Schedule:** Full Time **Hrs Per 2wk Pay Period:** 80 All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, marital status, sexual orientation, registered domestic partner status, sex, gender, gender identity or expression, ancestry, national origin (including possession of a driver's license issued to individuals who did not present proof of authorized presence in the U.S.), age, medical condition, physical or mental disability, military or protected veteran status, political affiliation, pregnancy or perceived pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding or related medical condition, genetic information or any other characteristic made unlawful by local, state, or federal law, ordinance or regulation.
