Candidate will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance personnel as required with little supervision. Must be able to work with limited supervision and candidate will be held accountable for maintaining a high level of craftsmanship, productivity goals, a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Day Shift: Monday-Friday 5:45am - 2:15pm
JOB DUTIES: Candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
The primary task is Sandblasting parts
Assist maintenance department with equipment shutdowns, repairs and projects as required
Perform daily maintenance and repairs to equipment as required for job duties
Cleaning and organizing work areas
Enter data via computer or handwriting in logs or reports Clean and sandblast metal parts and equipment
Maintain sand hopper with clean sand
Keeps track of necessary parts and ensures that parts are ordered
Work with other employees as a team to meet deadlines
Must work on clean out day, shift may vary
Self-motivated – able to work productively with limited supervision, Strives for quality and good craftsmanship
Willing to work other shifts as necessary
Sandblasting experience, 1 - 2yrs
Resolve problem-related job duties to best of ability
High sense of urgency
Must be able to pass respirator fir test, and the physical demands of the job: lift 50 pounds, bend, squat, kneel, twist, stand for long periods of time, stretching, pulling and pushing
Forklift and Crane Certification will be thru Cardinal
Basic computer skills - Word, Excel and email
Flexible schedule for overtime when required
