United States of America - California, Sacramento **Job Summary** The responsibilities of this Sacramento, CA-based position include, but are not limited to, those listed below: + Analyze and write environmental impacts from project activities to complete environmental documents under NEPA and CEQA. + Assist on a variety of environmental studies, analyses and permitting for facilities and infrastructure projects including power, water, transportation, and development-related projects. + Support senior management with business development and responding to proposals. + Manage small or medium-sized projects and serve as a deputy project manager or task lead on larger, more complex projects. + Oversee the work of others and mentor others. **Minimum Requirements** BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education **Preferred Qualifications** + Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high level of competence and experience in the area of technical report writing related to CEQA/NEPA compliance as well as other types of technical reports and regulatory (Federal, State, local) permitting documents + Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills to effectively manage projects and interact with teams of staff, sub consultants, and clients. + Experienced in environmental compliance, permitting, and agency consultations. **What We Offer** When you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future .
