The Manager, Integrated Quality Service will work as part of the IQS leadership team to achieve the department's vision and mission. Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the day-to-day operations of programs within IQS. Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including both clinical and operational leadership, to achieve measurable and continual progress in meeting SMF quality goals and objectives. Represents IQS/SMF on local, regional, and system level committees as needed, and serves as a leader and key resource for quality management programs. Adheres to all legal, organizational, and departmental guidelines and procedures. Directly responsible to the IQS Regional Director.
**Education,Licensures, and Certifications:**
+ Bachelor's Healthcare Administration or Management Or equivalent education/experience. Required
+ Master's Healthcare Administration for Management Preferred
+ Registered Nurse - State Licensure – RN – Preferred
+ CPHQ Preferred
+ At least 5 years of experience in quality management programs, with specific experience working with health plan quality initiatives, CQI systems, Joint Commission and IMQ survey preparation. Required
+ Extensive experience with capitated health care programs required. This should encompass health plan clinical operations, contracting and network administration, familiarity with clinical and financial metrics for capitated programs, quality improvement, compliance with governmental regulations and health plan compliance requirements, case management, disease management and patient education. Required
+ Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing immunity for peer review confidentiality.
+ Working knowledge of TQM/CQI in clinical settings.
+ Knowledgeable about health care law, regulations, accreditation requirements and clinical standards of practice.
+ Understand business planning including analysis, statistics, budgeting, feasibility studies and implementation.
+ Strong leadership and management skills required.
+ Demonstrated leadership skills in a complex environment with the ability to plan, set and accomplish multiple objectives.
+ Proven ability to select, lead, motivate and grow professional staff.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, hospital executives, health plan personnel, governmental personnel, and colleagues in SMF and Sutter Health.
+ Ability to prioritize, make decisions and set clear expectations for others.
+ Must be computer literate, especially with spreadsheet and word processing software.
+ Travel within the Greater Sacramento area is required.
