**Position Overview:** The Managerof Security Plans & Programs represents the Department of Protective Services (DPS) for system-wide programs within the DPS portfolio. The focus of the position will be development and maintenance of standards, plans, policies, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position owns the responsibility for scoping/sequencing work and developing/executing strategies to ensure departmental goals are met and regulatory requirements are adhered to. This includes the coordination, monitoring, and reporting on activities in accordance with project controls and ensuring contract requirements are being met by third-party security contractors for the System Office. The incumbent ultimately supports Sutter Health's goal of leading the transformation of health care to achieve the highest levels of quality, access, collaboration and affordability, by ensuring a secure environment for employees, patients, and visitors. The incumbent provides leadership, project management, and staff support essential to implement large-scale innovation and partnership efforts throughout the enterprise. This is a dynamic and visible role within the Department of Protective Services and will have touchpoints across the enterprise. Programs are typically highly visible and require exceptional research, analytical, collaboration, and communication competencies involving multiple key stakeholders. **Qualifications:** **Education** Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Health Care, Business, or closely related field required Or equivalent education/experience. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Health Care, Business, or closely related field preferred Or equivalent education/experience. **Experience** 6-9 years project management experience with projects of increasing complexity required. 3-5 years demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills in the development of complex programs in a collaborative, cross-functional environment required. 3-5 years must have been in responsible charge of the successful development of major programs of significant complexity in a regulated field required. **Skills/Knowledge** Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated success working in a highly regulated work environment Must be knowledgeable of processes, tools, and techniques for assessing and mitigating workplace violence in diverse situations.
