Boomerang is looking to bring on a marketing director to build out our team and help us tell the stories of how our productivity solutions brighten days and make organizations more effective
Boomerang has built a profitable, multi-million dollar business by virtue of making remarkable products that people love using and are willing to share. Boomerang’s business model is a mix of B2C and B2B, so we’ve been able to run successful projects in many areas of marketing: partner marketing, press, paid advertising, content marketing, email marketing, social media, video, and more. We’d love to work with a great marketing director to see that list of successful projects grow even faster.
You’ll work with us to establish a new office in Sacramento, recruit a team of 2-3 marketing folks to work with you in it, and set up goals and objectives for your team. You’ll provide day-to-day supervision of that team, serve as the liaison between our Mountain View headquarters and the Sacramento office, plus pitch in with marketing efforts as time allows.
If you specialize in rebranding, don’t need any data or any context to tell us how to change our pricing, or interpret the responsibilities listed above to mean “dictate what to build to our engineering and product teams,” our competitors are hiring too! On the other hand, if you're excited about telling stories, writing persuasive copy, building relationships, keeping a bunch of balls in the air without dropping the important ones, and signing up a million new customers, you might be a perfect fit.
