United States of America - California, Oakland **Job Summary** The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below: + Pursuit leadership including proposal strategy, content development, team coordination, layout/design, tasks related to proposal compliance (proposal schedule, forms, project data research), production, interview preparation (materials and team) + Works with a variety of technical and support staff to support marketplace strategy and development and/or preparation of responsive materials (collateral, photography, etc.) + Responsible for tracking progress of assigned opportunities in Salesforce + Participates in the maintenance of marketing information, such as project sheets and credentials + Undertakes special projects, such as award submittals, trade show coordination, brochures and other collateral as assigned + Interacts with all levels of technical and support staff. Comfortable with working with senior leadership and executives + Collaborates with marketing peers –coordinators, and graphic designers – to produce winning proposals **Minimum Requirements** Bachelor’s Degree plus 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or related degree or equivalent work experience + 6+ years of relevant work experience + Ability to take initiative in anticipating tasks and to look for ways to add value to the process/procedures + Experience in proposal management and coordination for design firms + Experience in the A/E/C Industry working on proposals/presentations + Experience with large complex proposals – ability to direct the team, facilitate and ensure compliance and schedules met + Intensive and diversified knowledge of marketing and proposal principles in the coordination and production of proposals, presentations, as well as other business development/marketing materials + Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment + Ability to develop proposal outline, schedule and task assignments for compliance with RFP requirements + Ability to operate autonomously and within a team setting + Effective and personable verbal and written communication skills + Excellent organization skills and attention to detail + Knowledge of transportation business, clients, standards, business development practices and priorities + Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel + Understanding of the Bay Area/Northern California market and client base with the ability to participate in strategy and messaging to win and secure new business is preferred + Salesforce/CRM experience desirable, but not required **What We Offer** When you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future .
