AECOM is seeking a Environmental Engineer to join our Federal Remediation Department in Sacramento, California. The successful candidates will be able to immediately contribute to the successful delivery of existing projects.
We are looking for an Environmental Engineer with an active PE license to be responsible for handling our company's ongoing projects. You will be working closely with your team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans as well as the proper execution of said plans.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication and time management skills, solid technical writing and organization skills, proficient with Microsoft Office word processing and spreadsheet software, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and most importantly, experienced in change management. To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a huge advantage.
This position requires a B.S. and a minimum of 6 years of successful work experience.
Preference will be given to the following Candidates:
+ B.S. in Environmental Engineering or related field, and a minimum of 6 years of experience
+ Experience with Performance Based Remediation Projects
+ Professional Engineering (PE) license
