AECOM is hiring a Sr. Visual Impact Specialist out of our Sacramento, California office.
Candidates will support Caltrans task orders with a goal of aligning CalTrans Visual Impact Assessment methodology with FHWA methodology.
Hours will vary depending on client and project needs, this position could be based remotely.
BA / BS in Landscape Architecture or related field with extensive experience.
Must have experience with FHWA methodology
Demonstrated experience and expertise in implementation of scenic resource conservation standards, the Visual Management System, Scenic Management System, and experience working with the Federal Highways Administration in applying the FHWA visual impact assessment (VIA) criteria where required.
Demonstrated experience working with state transportation departments applying VIA guidelines.
