United States of America - California, Sacramento **Job Summary** AECOM is seeking an environmental Project Engineer / Manager for employment in Sacramento, CA. Candidate's will support environmental investigation and remediation projects throughout the region. Additionally candidate's responsibilities will include but not be limited to: + Assist clients in developing strategies and planning for site redevelopment and cleanup. + Prepare project work scopes, schedules and budgets. + Mentoring for junior geologists, scientists, and engineers. + Evaluate field data, perform calculations and prepare technical reports. + Provide field exploration support, as needed, for site investigation, feasibility study evaluation, and remedy implementation. + Provide technical support on environmental projects related to performance assurance, compliance, and transactional services + Interact with AECOM offices worldwide to generate proposals and coordinate projects. **Minimum Requirements** BA/BS in Environmental or Civil Engineering with 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Candidate's must have a Valid U.S. Driver's License. Ability and willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time. Due to the nature of this work, US Citizenship is required. **Preferred Qualifications** + Professional Engineer license strongly preferred. + Experience in managing people and projects. Construction management familiarity a plus. + General understanding of U.S. environmental regulations. + Excellent verbal, writing, and computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) + Demonstrated ability to research and prepare concise and accurate technical documents. + Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative member of a project team. + Excellent interpersonal communication skills, which includes being comfortable and effective at communicating complex technical knowledge and concepts to other staff, clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders. + Strong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols. **What We Offer** When you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future .
