The AMR AppleCare Logistics team is a highly motivated, fast-pace, dynamic organization that is responsible for Apple’s reverse/service logistics operation in the Americas region. The team manages a number of Distribution Centers and 3PL (third party logistics) partners in multiple countries in the AMR region and delivers industry leading service to our customers. We are seeking a Logistics analyst whose role will touch all aspects of the reverse logistics network. This includes both service and channel returns from Apple’s Retail stores, Reseller locations and B2C returns.
As an expert in Logistics analytics, you'll be working in a global, fast-paced, and often ambiguous environment. You'll work with multiple cross functional teams. You'll build, develop, maintain and own the data infrastructure that enables effective and accurate decision-making. For the right candidate this is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Apple team that delivers real change and world-class service to our customers. •Developing, maintaining, updating and owning robust and scalable data infrastructure pertaining to AppleCare Logistics, using tools like SQL, Teradata Data Warehouse, Tableau, Alteryx and Excel •Develop reporting and dashboards for key operational processes that pertain to Forecasts, development of statistical models, measuring and improving forecast accuracy. •Write and automate complex queries along with ETL processes that forms the backbone of powerful decision-making tools. •Collaborating with Business and Planning teams to incorporate market, business intelligence with the forecast process. •Collaborate with Operations teams to understand capacity and compare with forecast highlighting risks. •Collaborating with Operations, Business Intelligence, Finance, Transportation and Engineering to improve areas such as performance, cost and quality. •Establish and maintain professional and open relations with external and internal partners. •Lead brainstorming sessions to capture requirements and risks with the Apple DC operational teams.
Bachelors degree and 5+ years experience, or MS/MBA and 3 years experience or equivalent experience. Business, Logistics and/or Engineering discipline preferred.
