Under the direction and general supervision of the Branch Chief, a Senior Architect, the Associate Architect is responsible for a wide variety of professional architectural work for transportation related facilities.
Performs professional architectural services by developing preliminary and final architectural designs for projects; controlling and coordinating the projects with other building engineering disciplines including civil and landscaping; developing aesthetic designs and renderings; and producing contract documents using Computer Aided Drafting Design.

Experience with the architectural design process for producing contract plans and specifications.
Experience using new technologies applicable for producing building contract documents.
