Under the direction of attorneys in the False Claims Unit and supervision by the Supervising Deputy Attorney General, the senior legal analyst (or legal analyst) will assist attorneys and professional staff in preparing for and participating in complex false claims actions including investigations, discovery, trials, hearings, settlement conferences and meetings.

The senior legal analyst (or legal analyst) is responsible for gathering and tracking all evidence and discovery, reviewing paper and electronic data and working with the Litigation Support Section to ensure proper repository of documents. They serve as an electronic litigation support consultant and trains other section staff on document and information management best practices and litigation support software applications. The duties of these positions require organizational and analytical ability, effective communication skills, and knowledge of the litigation process.
