Covered California is seeking a Quality Improvement Unit Manager. Under the general direction of the Health Program Manager III, Plan Management, the Health Program Manager II, Quality Improvement Unit Manager will provide leadership, direction, and coordination for the Quality Improvement Unit (QIU) in the overall program and policy development with a focused goal to increase quality and care coordination for Covered California’s consumers. The Quality Improvement Unit Manager will oversee QIU, and work closely with advocates, Qualified Health Plan (QHP) Issuer representatives, and health care providers to develop and implement network management, and delivery system standards and quality improvement strategies.
The classification for this role is for either a Health Program Manager II (HPMII) or Staff Services Manager II (SSMII).
