United States of America - California, Los Angeles **Job Summary** **AECOM** Program & Project Management Business Unit is currently seeking to identify a qualified Project Engineer (PE) to support upcoming education programs/projects. Projects typically involve construction, commissioning and closeout of projects totaling $5M in total capital cost. The PE, working closely and in concert with a Construction Manager, will support day-to-day field construction management responsibilities and will assist a management team to successfully administer contracts and deliver project(s). This is a client site position that could be based in Sacramento, San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles, Ontario, San Diego or another California location(s). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Provides technical engineering support. + Support project delivery and coordination of construction projects including field documentation, budgeting, scheduling, and closeout activities. + Coordinates responses to requests for clarification (RFC), change order proposals (COP), and change directives (CD). + Documents cost estimates and supports the negotiation of extra services/change orders. + Conducts field job site walks and prepares a daily report to document trade staffing, field conditions and construction progress. + Reviews and processes applications for payments. + Coordinates documentation of project closeout and certification processes. + Coordinates progress meetings between site administrators, community representatives, public agencies, and District departments. + Monitors Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for compliance with State Requirements. + Other duties as may be assigned. **About** **AECOM** At **AECOM** , we believe infrastructure creates opportunity for everyone.
