We provide advisory and technical services to help clients clean up and close contaminated sites and surplus operational facilities and restore them for reuse, plan and permit new facilities, address critical climate change issues, restore habitats and water quality, protect natural and cultural resources, maintain compliance, and cost-effectively manage residuals and wastes. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: + Project Field and Office Support for Site Assessment and Remediation Projects + Performing field sampling activities and becoming proficient with field instrumentation and equipment + Working on interesting, fast-paced projects with the opportunity to learn and expand skills + Analytical data analysis + Report preparation + Evaluation of alternatives + Data summaries + Field sampling for soil, soil vapor, and groundwater is required in a variety of environmental settings **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Civil or Mechanical Engineering + Valid U.S. Driver's License + U.S. citizenship required **Preferred Qualifications** + Willingness and ability to work outdoors in sometimes challenging conditions + Good interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable liaising with clients, colleagues, and sub-contractors alike + Flexible with working hours and locations, frequent travel within 1 – 2 hrs drive of a home office, and occasionally further + Willingness and ability to learn and rapidly master new tasks.Strong research and report writing (including web-based research) + Strong numerical skills + Excellent written and verbal skills + Strong quality and time management + Self-starter develops and delivers work under their own initiative + Solid attention to detail and thorough approach to work EIT **What We Offer** When you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future.
