We deliver our services—from environmental planning studies to detailed design, construction management, and operations and maintenance—to a wide range of public and private sector clients. Our public sector work encompasses everything from small rural communities, to large urban centers, to agencies with regional responsibilities. Our private sector work includes assignments for multiple commercial/industrial sectors, including oil and gas, chemicals, power, food and beverage, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals. **Responsibilities include:** + Serves as technical expert in field inspections ad audits, recognized as the 'go-to' expert internally and externally + Provides guiding direction for inspections on engagements. + Sets direction and goals for inspection and/or business line. + External spokesperson on technical project issues. + Leads the audit strategy for individual's area of expertise. + Key point of contact for engagements and member of AECOM senior leadership team. **Minimum Requirements** + High School Diploma + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + Possession of a valid driver’s license **Preferred Qualifications** + At least seven (7) years of recent experience in construction management and inspection of large and complex engineering/construction projects including water or wastewater facilities and/or rural roads; OR a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and at least three (3) years of recent relevant field inspection experience on projects similar to a water or wastewater facilities and/or rural roads + Experience in relevant, verifiable heavy civil/industrial type projects including at least two (2) projects with large valve installations, structures in high water environments, and dewatering and treatment systems + Demonstrated experience in construction inspection methods and current construction techniques + Demonstrated experience with construction means, methods and materials, and their appropriate application during different phases of construction + Experience in using construction management software is desirable. **What We Offer** When you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future.
