As a University Recruiter you will be responsible for supporting the execution, excellence and continuous improvement of our university outreach and recruitment of top graduate and intern talent. We are seeking a recruitment professional for a virtual opportunity preferably located in Sacramento or Los Angeles, California, New York, New York, Denver, Colorado, or Houston, Texas. Leveraging your project management skills, organizational and communication skills, you will work with various partners within Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Talent Management and Development, and the business to identify, hire and develop the next generation of technical talent.

The job responsibilities include:
+ Under direct supervision, responsible for the recruitment of prospective employees for open positions by interviewing and assessing candidate appropriateness for employment qualification.
+ Refers qualified candidates for non-exempt, paraprofessional, and professional level positions.
+ Advises and participates in planning, strategy development, and policy related to Talent Acquisition on a basic to moderate scale.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
+ Extensive knowledge of academic cycles, university attraction and outreach and working with student populations
+ Enthusiasm and dedication to College Recruitment, the future of our organization
+ Ability to conduct volume recruitment across multiple locations
+ Interface and partner with the hiring manager on filling their hiring needs
+ Prioritize multiple functions and manage time efficiently in a fast paced, changing work environment
+ Organization and attention to detail
+ Update applicant pool and candidate status and date in the applicant tracking system in real-time
+ Coordinate and execute recruiting events
+ Full life-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening candidates, creating shortlists, and managing the offer process
+ Tracking, organizing, coordinating, and facilitating campus outreach across DCS Americas in conjunction with the Area Talent Teams
+ Managing candidate inquiries, responding to information requests, providing guidance, and educating the business on our college recruitment activities
+ Working as a team to implement Americas DCS strategy and bringing innovative ideas to improve the program within the context of our business environment
+ Tracking and supporting key college relationships across the geography
+ Crafting engaging job descriptions and job postings as needed
+ Liaising with university career centers on job postings and identifying ways to connect with top talent
+ Identifying and implementing cutting edge ways to continuously promote AECOM to university students
+ Knowledge of social media outreach channels critical in the university talent space.
+ Providing superior customer service and education to our internal clients while executing our college recruitment strategy
+ Support and backstop members of the University Recruitment team as needed
+ Other duties as assigned

+ As a member of the corporate team, you will work with professionals at our headquarters in California and in business offices around the world to advance AECOM’s global strategies and priorities. With positions around the globe, the Corporate team includes finance, legal, human resources, information technology, marketing and communications, and real estate functions.
+ HS/GED + 4 years of full life cycle recruitment experience.
+ Proficient utilizing an applicant tracking system, such as, IBM-Kenexa Brass Ring.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
+ Bachelor’s Degree or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
+ Ability to handle high volume requisition workload in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong written and verbal communication with a positive, client/candidate-focused customer service attitude.
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple calendars and deadlines.
+ Experience working in or with universities and colleges on recruitment/placement activities, including virtual career fairs.
+ Understanding of the campus recruitment environment.
+ Preferably located in Sacramento or Los Angeles, CA, New York, NY, Denver, CO, or Houston, TX.
+ This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
