The   California Department of Social Services (CDSS)   is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our test team in supporting software testing activities for new, existing and legacy applications.   Recruiting for an   Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I)   who is responsible for the development and execution of test scripts, tracking & prevention of defects, verification & validation of test results and adherence to departments testing standards, processes and best practices.   The ITS I works under the direction of the Information Technology Supervisor II of the Development Resources Bureau in the Information Systems Division (ISD).
