JOB DUTIES: . Assist SLS team members with In Home Support Services (IHSS) records, schedules and employee questions. . Provide training for staff in accordance with staff training and curriculum as outlined in the staff training plan. . Assure On My Own is in compliance with the Lanterman Act, Title 17, and Alta CA Regional Center. . Maintain and oversee the maintenance of necessary records for services rendered and the business entity. . Perform client assessments as directed. . Research topics and develop monthly memo for On My Own clients, staff and community partners. . Orders necessary supplies for client homes. . Plans monthly client activity socials and creates flyers. . Assist in the non-supervisory duties of SLS Facilitators and Direct Service Providers as needed. . Conduct interviews and orientations for applicants and new hires within the SLS Program as directed. . Perform safety checks at client homes to ensure the environment is healthy and safe for both client and staff. . Assist in the collection of required employee paperwork. . Act as a liaison between On My Own and external agencies. . Maintain a level of professionalism with external, clients and their support systems, and co-workers. . Oversee Special Incident Reporting and SLS Facilitator monthly reports. Distribute reports and follow up as needed. . Assist the Program Director with various projects including, but not limited to, House Binder checks, client file reviews, monthly expense reports, and CEO Monthly Report. . Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: . Through education and/or experience, possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to implement all functions of the position. . Two years of experience working in a similar position or corporate office environment. . Proficient in the use of standard office equipment, computers and various software including Microsoft Office. . Must have or be willing to obtain Red Cross CPR/First Aid Instructor Training Certification within six months of hire. . Ability to learn and retain new skills required. . Ability to respect the rights and dignity of all clients. . Previous experience working with the developmentally disabled population preferred. . Valid CA Drivers' License with reliable transportation and proof of car insurance in your name.
