The Labor and Workforce Development Agency (LWDA) is looking for an Attorney III or IV to work as Assistant General Counsel to independently perform the more complex legal work of the Agency. The Assistant General Counsel conducts research, interprets and applies statutes, precedents, and other legal authorities to legal issues before the LWDA. The Assistant General Counsel is responsible for a broad spectrum of legal research and assists the General Counsel in the formulation, administration and implementation of Agency policies and programs. Qualifications At a minimum, a competitive candidate will have an active membership in The California State Bar and at least six years of legal experience in the practice of law.
