Job Summary: Under supervision, responsible for providing general administrative support and outreach and event planning for the Asian American Studies Department. Coordinate content of Department web pages. Support faculty in course issues including preparation, implementation, planning and scheduling, course evaluation, book ordering, and other related issues. Assist the chair in supervising the student assistants staffing the ASA front office. Work with the SAO to provide students with advice and support on academic issues, and serve as backup contact for students to provide general academic information and direct them to designated adviser.
