Alta California Regional Center is a non-profit organization that has been around for more than 50 years. Alta is funded by California and governed by the Department of Developmental Services. We provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities. The regional center serves as a middle person between our clients and the services. Our employees don't provide direct services, meaning they aren't with clients on a day-to-day basis, but rather help them navigate and obtain the services that are available to them in the community.  ACRC employs approximately 900+ individuals working out of eight offices in a ten-county area. ACRC is one of 21 Regional Centers in California.
