The Energy Cost of Service & Natural Gas (ECOSNG) Branch within the Public Advocates Office at the Public Utilities Commission (Commission) is seeking a Public Utilities Regulatory Analyst (PURA) I to join its Revenue Requirements team.   Under the supervision of the Program and Project Supervisor of the Revenue Requirements Section, the incumbent is responsible for representing ratepayer interests on issues pertaining to the appropriate revenue requirement and rates associated with Commission-regulated gas and electric utilities in General Rate Cases and other rate setting cases. Under the general direction of the Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor), the incumbent will coordinate, manage, and direct the work of professional accounting staff in the Accounts Payable Section, Travel Unit. The incumbent will apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and various control agency policies and procedures for the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) Travel Expense Claims (TEC) and Training &Travel Advances (TTA).
