Under the general direction of the Bureau Chief (ITM II) Technology Infrastructure Bureau, the Information Technology Manager I (ITM I) has management responsibility for planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling the work of the Enterprise System Operations and Support Section (ESOSS). This position requires a technical and management background and experience. Responsible through second level managers for the daily operations of the Production Operations (PO) and Enterprise System Support (ESS) Units. Both units support the SCO’s mainframe computer systems/applications, software and hardware. In addition ESS supports the n-tier systems/applications, software and hardware. Acts as a liaison with the State Data Center to ensure the State and Controller’s Office interests are considered and informed of the statewide information technology direction.
