The FI$CAL and Information Technology (FITA) Bureau performs constitutionally required pre- and post-payment audits of electronically-submitted claims data, FI$Cal vouchers, and electronically supported paper claims to the State Controller's Office to ensure the legality, validity and propriety of claims against the State.
